Assistant to the Rector for work with veterans of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Hovorukha, as part of the Pokrova AMP-2 team, won the Mayor's Cup in amp football, which was held in Khmelnytskyi.

Teams that included players from the First League and Super League took part in the tournament. The Pokrova AMP-2 team demonstrated a high level of training, winning three confident victories:
Pokrova AMP-2 - Vovky (Khmelnytskyi) - 5:0;
Pokrova AMP-2 - Vikings (Ternopil) - 4:0;
Pokrova AMP-2 - Khrestonostsi (Lutsk) - 3:0.
The team finished the competition without conceding goals, with a total score of 12:0, confidently winning the main trophy of the tournament.

The participation of university employees in sports events for veterans is an important component of the popularization of adaptive sports, support for the veteran community and the establishment of an active lifestyle. Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs will continue to promote the implementation of initiatives aimed at physical rehabilitation, social adaptation and comprehensive development of veterans.
