The scientific and pedagogical community of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues to actively integrate into the European research space. Head of the Research Laboratory of Social and Psychological Support, Assistance and Rehabilitation of MIA Employees Oleksii Serdiuk successfully completed the SSH Ambassador Training program organized by the Net4Society network and received the international qualification SSH Ambassador (Social Sciences and Humanities Ambassador).

The certificate received confirms the acquisition of knowledge and practical skills necessary for the integration of social sciences and humanities into research and innovation, in particular within the framework of the European Union Horizon Europe Framework Program.

The SSH Ambassador status will contribute to a more active involvement of university scientists in international consortia and grant projects of the European Union, the development of interdisciplinary research, the dissemination of SSH approaches and the expansion of cooperation with European partners and the Net4Society network.
Obtaining this qualification is an important step in implementing the Communication Strategy on European Integration of Ukraine, expanding the university's participation in the Horizon Europe program and other international grant initiatives, as well as strengthening the university's authority in the international arena.
