Employees of the State Bureau of Investigations gave a lecture to cadets of the faculty for training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The event was attended by Colonel Serhii Ivanchenko, representative of the Territorial Administration of the State Bureau of Investigation in Mykolaiv, and was aimed at raising awareness among future law enforcement officers about the specifics of the Bureau's activities.

During the lecture, cadets were told about the main areas of activity of the SBI, jurisdiction, and categories of criminal offenses that fall within the competence of the Bureau. Particular attention was paid to the requirements for candidates for service, the conditions for passing the competition, and the professional and moral qualities that an SBI employee must possess.

They also focused on the specifics of investigating crimes under the jurisdiction of the State Bureau of Investigation, in particular criminal offenses committed by officials, law enforcement officers, and military personnel.
