Hanna Reznichenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines at the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, conducted a binary practical class on the academic discipline «Criminal Law Qualification» with the participation of invited experts — Vitalii Matvieiev, head of the «PROJECTOR» public organization, lawyer, media lawyer, and Karolina Palaichuk, member of the board of the «PROJECTOR» public organization, lawyer for the «Human Rights Clinic» project.

During the class, students had the opportunity to learn about the specifics of documenting war crimes, the procedure for collecting evidence, recording violations of international humanitarian law, and the practical aspects of classifying such crimes in accordance with international and national criminal law.


The invited experts shared their own experience in the field of international justice, in particular cooperation with the International Criminal Court, and discussed with the participants the current challenges facing lawyers in the investigation of crimes committed during the armed aggression against Ukraine.
