Traditionally, on the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language, teachers, schoolchildren, students, scientists, politicians, public figures, as well as those who care about the fate of their native language both in their homeland and far beyond its borders, write a radio dictation of national unity. Holding such a large-scale event is an extremely important initiative, as it is not only an occasion to test your knowledge, but also an opportunity to unite many fans around the Ukrainian language and culture. This year, the participants wrote a dictation, as defined by the author of the text, Oksana Zabuzhko, on the ‘very nice’ topic of ‘The Magic of the Voice’. The dictation was read by writer and soldier Pavlo Vyshebaba.

The XXIV Radio Dictation of National Unity was joined by cadets, students, teachers, staff and management of the ERI No. 1-5 at all locations of the university, as well as separate structural subdivisions of Sumy branch and Kremenchuk Flight College. The work was organised by the teachers of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies: Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Volodymyr Grechenko, Doctor of Philology, Professor Igor Chornyi, Associate Professor Nataliia Kobylko, and Senior Lecturer Nataliia Yelnikova.
