On the 39th anniversary of the accident at Chornobyl nuclear power plant, cadets, students and employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs at all locations of the higher education institution honored the memory of the victims of the largest nuclear disaster, which took the lives of thousands of people and caused irreparable damage to the environment.

The memory of Chornobyl will always remind humanity of the importance of safety and civic responsibility in order to avoid such tragedies in the future.
