Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in summarizing the results of work for 2024 of the NPU information and analytical support units

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was represented by Yurii Onyshchenko, Deputy Director of the Institute for Educational and Research Activities of the Educational and Research Institute No. 4, and Dmytro Pashniev, Head of the Research Laboratory for Information Technology and Combating Crime in Cyberspace.

The event was organized by Oleksii Hryhorovych, Head of the Information and Analytical Support Department of the National Police of Ukraine. Among the guests and speakers of the event were Roman Butko, Head of the Criminal Analysis Department of the NPU, Ruslan Horiachenko, Head of the Department of the Main Inspection and Human Rights of the NPU, Viktoriia Zyma, Head of the Documentation Department of the NPU, Denys Hedz, Acting Deputy Head of the Documentation Department of the NPU, Mykola Khomutovskyi, EUAM Ukraine Representative, Ihor Fedchak, Head of the Department of Information Technology of the Faculty #2 of Lviv State University of Internal Affairs, and others.

The event was full of interesting speeches, presentations, substantive discussions of practical cases, and discussions on the formation of proposals for the paradigm of development of the SIAP and its territorial units.

Representatives of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and Lviv State University of Internal Affairs reported on the state of training of specialists for information and analytical support units of the National Police, which is carried out in the specialty 126 “Information Systems and Technologies”, and also outlined the problematic issues that require ensuring a quality educational process in higher education institutions with specific training conditions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, taking into account the challenges of today.

The priority of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, in particular the Educational and Research Institute No. 4 (training of specialists in information and analytical support and cybersecurity of the National Police of Ukraine), is constant cooperation with the stakeholder - the Department of Information and Analytical Support of the National Police of Ukraine and its territorial units for the purpose of high-quality training of highly qualified IT specialists at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

The management of the Department of Information and Analytical Support of the NPU proposed to continue fruitful cooperation with Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in the framework of training specialists for the information and analytical support and cybersecurity units of the National Police.
