Representatives of OSUIA took part in the OSCE conference on "OSCE's Intelligence-led Policing (ILP) Project: Achievements, Lessons Learned and Future Plans"

On November 26, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Department of Cybersecurity and Information Support, cadets of all faculties, as well as master’s and graduate students of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs were invited by the European Union Advisory Mission to discuss the implementation of the model of law enforcement (ILP) OSCE on the topic: "OSCE's Intelligence-led Policing (ILP) Project: Achievements, Lessons Learned and Future Plans".
 
During the event, cadets had the opportunity to participate in real-time discussions on modern analytical intelligence-led policing from reports from international speakers such as: Petrik Jorji, Coordinator of the Albanian Working Group on the OSCE Chairmanship; Ambassador Anne-Kirsty Carlsen, Permanent Representative of the Norwegian Delegation to the OSCE, Rainer Conrad, Military Adviser to the Permanent Mission of Germany to the OSCE, as well as about 130 participants from countries and international partner organizations such as INTERPOL, EUROPOL, the EU Agency on Training law enforcement bodies and the EU Advisory Mission.
 
 
It should be noted that the importance of involving the educational community, cadets, master’s and graduate students in such activities which represents an effective tool in disseminating information (experience) of different countries in the educational process of future police officers.
