Petro Kuzmin, Head of the Department of the Main Inspection of the MDNP in Khmelnytskyi region, and Andrii Kohun, Senior Inspector on special assignments of the Department of the Main Inspection of the DMIHR (Department of Main Inspection and Human Rights) of the National Police of Ukraine, held a legal education event for cadets of the Educational and Research Institutes No.1 and No.4.

During their conversation with the cadets, law enforcement officers emphasised that effective service in the police requires not only thorough theoretical knowledge, but also proper physical training and well-developed practical skills. They provided information about the specific work of police units that monitor human rights compliance and familiarised the cadets with the functioning of the Custody Records subsystem.

The cadets learned about the purpose of its implementation, its main functions and its importance for ensuring transparency, accountability and human rights compliance while individuals are in police units.
