The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has awarded lifetime state scholarships for outstanding services in the field of higher education to scientific and pedagogical workers who have made a significant personal contribution to the development of higher education and science in Ukraine.

In accordance with the Government's order, from September 1, 2026, Professor of the Department of Criminology and Forensic Expertise of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandr Yukhno will receive a lifetime state scholarship.

Oleksandr Oleksandrovych is a well-known Ukrainian scientist, Doctor of Law, Professor, author of numerous monographs, textbooks, teaching aids and scientific articles. The professor's many years of scientific and pedagogical activity, his significant contribution to the development of legal science, the improvement of the educational process, the training of highly qualified lawyers and law enforcement officers have received high state recognition.
