Vice-Rector of DLI, Police Captain Denys Nesterov and Head of the Department, Doctor of Law, Professor Lyudmila Nikolenko delivered  a history of development of DLI on the air of “Hromadske Radio”. Also, they spoke about urgent issues of education during a pandemic, and candidates entered to the institute from the occupied territory, and about further perspectives of the institute.

Denys Nesterov pointed on exclusive experience of DLI as temporary displaced institute and told about a process of renewal of the institute in Kryvyi Rih and Mariupol.

Lyudmila Nikolenko mentioned on special aspects of educational process in the pandemic. She has noted that according to results of the  enrolment campaign there is stable interest of candidates from the occupied territory who enter the institute through the Education Centers “Donbass – Ukraine” and “Crimea – Ukraine”. 31 candidate took advantage of the Centers in 2020. Noted that last year 34 candidates became cadets and students of DLI of MIA of Ukraine because of work of the Education Centers “Donbass – Ukraine” and “Crimea – Ukraine”.

Denys Nesterov and Lyudmila Nikolenko told about ambitious plans of becoming University, about the opening of new specializations and expand the list of educational services.
