The psychological support of the camp training continues, one of the stages of which is the psychological diagnosis of the new cadets. Several tests are used to determine their current psycho-emotional state, some personality traits and characteristics so that the psychologist can prevent possible difficulties during the cadets' adaptation period and provide psychological support if necessary.

During group sessions, diagnostics is also carried out, but by observation: behavioural characteristics, reactions, and communication skills are monitored.

The analysis and correlation of the test results, individual conversations and interactive assessment methods makes it possible to make a forecast of the success of training and the development of cadets' professional abilities.

Psychologists focus freshmen's attention on taking care of their own emotional state, preserving psychological resources, and applying self-regulation techniques when necessary.
