On the eve of the New Year and Christmas holidays, cadets and students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visited military personnel undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions. The purpose of the – meetings is to support those who defend Ukraine and to give an atmosphere of celebration, warmth and care.

As part of the action «Holiday support workshop» the youth together with the military created New Year's wreaths and decorations, decorated festive photo zones, and decorated the premises with garlands. Pupils of the Lyceum of Security of the State Emergency Service in Vinnytsia region actively participated in the event. The creative process was accompanied by sincere smiles and warm conversations that made the meeting truly special.

Such initiatives give our defenders a sense of gratitude and attention, help them recover emotionally and feel the support of the people for whom they risk their lives every day. The youth visited the military in medical institutions and parts of Kharkiv region, Vinnytsia region, Khmelnytskyi region, Sumy region, and Poltava region.

Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs constantly supports Ukrainian defenders. Soldiers undergoing treatment and rehabilitation regularly participate in university events: art therapy sessions, creative and sports activities, master classes, music meetings, canine classes and joint trips to nature. Each of these events is filled with warmth and sincerity, which helps the military restore moral strength.
