Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Day of Unity of Ukraine.

Representatives of the state and local self-government bodies, law enforcement agencies, public organizations, veterans of the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation, cadets and students, residents of Kharkiv Region put flowers to the monument of Taras Shevchenko and observed a moment of silence for those who sacrificed their lives for the unity of Ukraine.
