The rector of the OSUIA held an open practical lecture for cadets
НАВС

On November 19, the rector of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs Viacheslav Abroskin held an open practical lecture for the cadets of the graduation courses of the University.

In order to understand how to act, analyze the situation and what decisions will be made by young police officers who are soon to join the ranks of the National Police of Ukraine, the head of the University gave future police officers an example from his own practice - the murder of a 16-year-old girl which had a significant public resonance.

In turn, the cadets had to state in stages all the actions that police officers should take in order to successfully investigate a crime: from receiving a notification of a criminal offense on line “102” to detention of an offender.

The future police officers told the rector in detail about the actions of the officers on duty when receiving notification of the girl's disappearance, as well as further actions of the patrol police crew, members of investigative task force, district police officers, operatives and others.

During the discussion, the cadets put forward versions of the offense investigation and listened carefully to the advice and guidance of an experienced leader, as due to such meetings young police officers will be able to gain knowledge that will help them avoid possible mistakes in future.
