A delegation from the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine (EUAM) paid a working visit to the University: Flemming Lau, Head of Police Operations at EUAM Ukraine, and Johan Heed, Senior Adviser on Stabilization Measures at EUAM Ukraine.

The meeting was the next stage of cooperation between the university and EUAM, during which the agreements already reached were reviewed and further steps were identified for their implementation.

Rector of the University Valerii Sokurenko, First Vice Rector Viktor Vasylenko, Head of the International Cooperation Department Tetiana Matiushkova, Director of the Educational and Research Institute No. 2 (training of specialists for Criminal Police of Ukraine of the NPU) Vasyl Kikinchuk, Deputy Director for Educational and Methodological Work of Educational and Research Institute No. 4 (training of specialists in information and analytical support and cyber security of the NPU) Yurii Onyshchenko, Head of the Department of Countering Cybercrime of the same institute Oleksandr Manzhai.

During the meeting, an agreement was reached to conduct basic (for higher education students) and advanced (for academic staff) training. The proposed topics include the use of open sources of information (OSINT) in the investigation of war and other crimes, risk management, prevention of harassment, combating human trafficking, investigation of cybercrime and other crimes involving cryptocurrency, etc.

Rector of the university Valerii Sokurenko thanked EUAM representatives for their support of many important projects and fruitful cooperation.
