During the career guidance meeting on the peculiarities of admission and studying at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs in 2025, the Educational and Research Institute No. 1 was presented to the students of all regions of Ukraine by state order and at the expense of individuals and legal entities.
The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University Oleksandr Muzychuk, Assistant to the Rector Viktor Slysh, Directors of Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 Vitalii Romaniuk, No. 2 Vasyl Kikinchuk, No. 3 Hennadii Zvirianskyi, No. 4 Mykola Marchuk, representatives of regional and territorial police units. About 300 prospective applicants and their parents joined the online conversation.
Vitalii Romaniuk presented a step-by-step algorithm of actions for applicants when applying to Kharkiv Police University, spoke about the Educational and Research Institute No. 1, the specifics of the educational process, educational, scientific and material and technical facilities. He emphasised that the priority of the Institute is to train investigators and detectives for pre-trial investigation bodies and criminal police units of the National Police of Ukraine on a full-time basis under the Law and Law Enforcement study programmes.
The participants received the necessary information about the specifics of the 2025 admission campaign and learned about the work of the preparatory department. All the questions were answered in detail and the future applicants were invited to attend the next meetings to be held every Wednesday by the university staff.
Finally, Vitalii Romaniuk introduced the participants to the work of the Driving School for people with disabilities in Kamianets-Podilskyi. He noted that the parents of schoolchildren who are combatants and have received a disability have the opportunity to take a course for category B or improve their safe driving skills at the university's driving school.
