The theoretical course at the barrier-free driving school of KhNUIA is currently being mastered by another student - Viacheslav Bordash. Since childhood, he has been moving around in a wheelchair, but this does not prevent him from leading an active lifestyle, playing sports, studying and working.

Six years ago, Viacheslav moved to Kamianets-Podilskyi from Cherkasy region to get an education at the educational and rehabilitation institution of higher education "Kamanets-Podilskyi State University". At first, he studied in the specialty "Economics" and graduated from the university with honors. Later, he decided to continue his education in the specialty "Psychology" and is currently getting a master's degree, while working at the same institution.

In addition to his studies and professional activities, Viacheslav is actively involved in sports. He is a five-time Ukrainian champion in track and field and Khmelnytskyi region champion in powerlifting.
He learned about the barrier-free driving school when it opened and joined in testing the ramps and pneumatic lift.

“I was one of the first to be invited to test the special equipment to assess how convenient and accessible everything was for people in wheelchairs,” says Viacheslav.
According to him, he used to do without his own transport, but over time he realized that a car would significantly expand his capabilities and increase his level of mobility.

“I am a completely independent and mobile person: I move around the city on my own, study, work, and play sports. But now the moment has come when I realized that for even greater freedom and independence I need a car,” he says.
According to Viacheslav, a barrier-free driving school is not only an opportunity to get a driver's license, but also an important step towards greater independence and mobility, which allows you to be more active in your studies, work, and everyday life.
