The introductory event was conducted for the listeners of group 2/26 of the CSIPT "Academy of Police" of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

The listeners familiarized themselves with the peculiarities of the work of the temporary detention facility, its structure and organization of activity. Special attention was paid to the procedure of admission, placement and detention of detained and taken into custody persons, as well as the observance of their rights and legitimate interests.

The participants of the event saw the conditions of functioning of the detention facility, familiarized themselves with the documentation and peculiarities of ensuring the proper regime.

The event contributed to the deepening of the theoretical knowledge of the listeners in professionally-oriented disciplines and gave the opportunity in practice to familiarize themselves with the peculiarities of the official activity of the employees of the temporary detention facility. The acquired knowledge will subsequently be useful during the performance of official duties.

Such classes help to combine theoretical knowledge with real working conditions and to better understand the peculiarities of the official activity of police officers.
