Joint Training Sessions in Adaptive Judo at DSUIA
НАВС

The events are conducted by the Department of Special Physical Training with the support of the administration of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.

Military veterans Andrii Shevchenko, Bohdan Demchenko, Viacheslav Pryvalov, Oleksandr Hryshchuk, as well as cadets of the institution took part in the training session.

According to the organizers, this approach is important both for military veterans and for youth. Veterans feel significantly more confident, as they experience sincere support, respect, and the opportunity to interact with those around them in a safe and friendly atmosphere.

In turn, cadets and students personally get acquainted with those who defended the country, forming within themselves patriotism, humanity, empathy, and deep respect for the defenders of Ukraine.

Joint training sessions in adaptive judo contribute not only to physical rehabilitation, but also to the social integration of veterans, strengthening intergenerational ties, fostering moral and psychological resilience, and developing values of solidarity and mutual assistance.
