A working meeting was held between Oleksandr MARUNCHAK, Head of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities of KhNUIA, and a representative of the NGO “Vashkivetska Cheremshyna” in Vashkivtsi, Chernivtsi region, Ivan Shevchuk and the Director of Vashkivtsi Secondary School Ivan Havrysh, who were interested in the activities of the Driving School and the possibility of further cooperation. Ivan Shevchuk noted: “There is a rehabilitation center on the territory of the Vashkovetska amalgamated territorial community where our defenders receive help in restoring their health. Due to serious injuries, many of them need to be retrained in driving. We are planning to re-equip the cars to improve the level of safe driving for combatants who already have a driver's license. We turned to the staff of the Driving School for their experience in conducting such classes. We look forward to further cooperation.”
Oleksandr Marunchak emphasized that the specialists of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Driving School are always ready to cooperate so that people with disabilities can adapt to society as quickly as possible.
