Another specialized training in rehabilitation swimming for a combat participant, a soldier of the 78th separate airborne assault regiment, Serhii OMAROV, was conducted by Ihor OSTROVSKYI, a senior lecturer at the Department of Special Physical Training of KhNUIA.
In peacetime, Serhii worked as a history teacher, and on February 24, 2022, he became a defender of Ukraine. His combat path passed through Kherson region, Bakhmut, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions.
Currently, the serviceman is recovering and swimming plays an important role in this - one of the most effective methods of physical and psychological rehabilitation. Water exercises help reduce stress levels, improve overall well-being, restore mobility and coordination, and also strengthen the muscular corset.
The training program includes a set of exercises adapted to the needs of veterans returning to active life after injuries and physical exertion at the front. The Department of Special Physical Training continues to implement initiatives within the framework of the implementation of the project of the Department of Education, Science and Sports of the Ministry of Internal Affairs #FriendlySupport.3.jpg)
