Tense fights, strong rivals and the need for maximum concentration in each fight – this is what the All-Ukrainian tournament “Young Ukraine Cup” in sambo wrestling was for first-year student of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksandra Meshcheriakova.

During the competition, Oleksandra demonstrated good physical and technical training, endurance and the ability to fight until the end of the fight. According to the results of her performances, she won 3rd place in her category.

“Each fight was difficult in its own way. I had to gather myself, control my emotions and adhere to the chosen tactics. I am glad that I managed to show the result and win a medal. This victory motivates me to work further and improve my technique,” Oleksandra shared.

The “Young Ukraine Cup” tournament was held in Uzhgorod. Juniors and juniors, older boys and girls, as well as cadets who competed in the sports and combat sambo sections took part in it.
