Another optional class on the topic "Current Problems of Operational and Investigative Activities" was held at the School of Scientific Leadership of  Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. The lecturer was Professor of the Department of Operational and Investigative Activities and Crime Detection of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Mykhailo HRIBOV.

The speaker emphasized the paramount importance of developing critical thinking among both law enforcement officers and scientists. In an interactive format, he examined the concept of operational and Investigative Activities, its legal principles, as well as the problem of the correlation of operational and Investigative activities and covert investigative (search) actions. Using examples from his own legal practice, the professor analyzed the essence of certain current problems of operational and Investigative Activities.

The Head of the School of Scientific Leadership, Vitalii NAIDA, drew attention to the organizational, managerial, and regulatory and legal problems that occur in the activities of operational units of the National Police, in particular in the field of interaction with investigators (detectives).

Cadets, students, master's students, postgraduate students and adjuncts of the university from all locations actively joined the discussion, asked the speaker relevant questions and analyzed modern challenges of the OIA.
