Tactical special exercises at the Kherson Faculty of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs
НАВС
The most intense period of the election campaign is to begin soon, during which cadets of 2-4 courses of the Kherson faculty of the OSUIA will be on duty together with police officers to keep public safety and order.

On October 8, joint tactical and special exercises were held on the territory of the educational institution, during which situational tasks that may arise during the election process were worked out. Situations range from the drunken voter who was rioting at the polling station to the hostage-taking and riots.

The conditions of the training were as close as possible to the real ones: at the polling station behind the tables for commission members, places for observers and booths for expressing one's will, abnormal situations with smoke screens, arson, and explosions were simulated.

Being extras - National police of Ukraine, cadets of the Kherson faculty and listeners of the center of primary professional training. Being active parties - real special forces, cynologists, explosion operatives, units of the National Guard, The State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Being spectators - heads of all the territorial divisions of police of Kherson region and personnel of the Kherson faculty of OSUIA.

“Certified employees and cadets of the Kherson faculty of OSUIA are constantly involved in protection of polling stations and ensuring public safety and order during elections. Tactical-special exercises, which were held today at the Kherson Faculty, will allow our cadets to gain professional skills and practical experience in emergency situations to ensure public safety and free expression of will of citizens during elections. On behalf of the administration of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs I express my sincere gratitude to the head of the National police of Ukraine in Kherson region for constant cooperation with our university, which will certainly affect the quality of training of future police officers, "said Vice-Rector of Odessa State University of Internal Affairs - Dean of Kherson Faculty.
