Soon, university graduates will become police officers, law enforcement officers in our country. After graduation, their paths will diverge and a new life will begin for each of them. The years spent together will forever remain in the memory of young men and women, as will this evening: unforgettable moments of cadet life, meaningful and interesting classes with university teachers and well-known professionals of the police service, scientific and sports victories, leisure, creative events, volunteer activities and much more.
The event was attended by the Vice-Rector of the university Serhii BORTNYK, Directors of the Educational and Research Institutes No. 1 and No. 4 Vitalii ROMANIUK and Mykola MARCHUK, permanent staff and graduates of the institutes. It became an evening of gratitude, pleasant memories and family unity, because the university will remain dear to each graduate for life.
With a minute of silence, those present honored the memory of the heroes who died in the struggle for a free, independent Ukraine.
Creative gifts for a good memory were prepared for the graduates by the permanent participants of the solemn university-wide events: a unit of drummers, girls with sabers of the parade calculation, a creative collective of the university's amateur art with a choreographic composition "The City Sleeps".
Directors of the Educational and Research Institutes Vitalii ROMANIUK and Mykola MARCHUK wished the graduates a happy fate, inspiration in the service, high achievements and big stars on their shoulders: "We are proud of your life choice! We need honest, motivated and open police officers for the community. We are convinced that under any circumstances you will remain loyal to the Oath, will not betray the truth, goodness and honor!".
Vice-Rector of the University Serhii BORTNYK, on behalf of the Rector of the University, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii SOKURENKO, congratulated those present on the successful completion of their studies and the beginning of a new, professional page of adult life: “Dear graduates! The years of study were not easy, but you passed all the tests with honor and dignity, gaining knowledge that will be useful to you in your further service.
In this hall today are real professionals, police officers who will continue the noble work of their parents and mentors. May the motto of our university “Knowledge. Law. Honor” become decisive in your lives, a guarantee of future achievements and victories in the name of the Ukrainian people and our strong, democratic and independent state! Always remember - the doors of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are always open for you! Serve conscientiously, continue to study, set high goals for yourself and confidently step towards your goal! Good luck to you in everything - both in service and in your personal life! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the Heroes!
