Teams of cadets from the university took part in the event organized by the Department of Firearms Training.

The competition took place at the university shooting range. The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Ukraine and a minute of silence in memory of the fallen Heroes.

The Vice-Rector of DSUIA, Police Colonel Ihor Kovalov, addressed the participants. He wished the athletes strong sports tempering, accuracy, endurance and victory to the best.

Cadets from the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU and the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU of DSUIA took part in the competition.

According to the results of the competition, the places were distributed as follows:

Team standings

first place was taken by group SR K9-25-1 of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Criminal Police Units of the NPU;

second place was taken by representatives of group DR-344 of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU;

third place was won by cadets of group KP-K9-25-1.

In the individual standings (women):

first place – Karina Tserpish;

second place – Anna Halei;

third place – Ivetta Haivaniuk.

Among men, the places were distributed as follows:

first place – Maksym Levchenko;

second place – Nikita Nikitenko;

third place – Nikita Solokha.

The participants demonstrated a high level of firearms training, speed, accuracy and professionalism — qualities that are an integral part of the future service in the bodies of the National Police of Ukraine.
