On September 1, on Knowledge Day, the academic year began for first-year students of Kremenchuk Flight College of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs with a special event - the ceremonial awarding of the first cadet shoulder straps. For young people who are just starting their professional path, they have become a symbol of a new status, responsibility and belonging to the cadet community.

Kremenchuk Flight College has many years of experience in training pilots and aviation technical personnel. Traditions have been formed here that combine thorough theoretical training, practical skills and high requirements for professional skill. Today, the college, as a structural unit of the KhNUVS, continues to train specialists for the aviation units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

In conditions of full-scale war, the state especially needs professional, responsible and well-trained specialists. Therefore, high-quality education for today's youth is a contribution not only to their personal future, but also to strengthening Ukraine's ability to guarantee security and protect its citizens.

The first-year students were congratulated by the Rector of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Police General of the Third Rank Valerii Sokurenko.
"Today is a special Knowledge Day for you. You are starting a new stage in your life and today you receive shoulder straps that symbolize responsibility, discipline and belonging to a large university family. You came here to gain knowledge and a profession that requires not only high skill, but also endurance, responsibility and constant development. Our state is going through an extremely difficult time. The war has shown how important professionals are who know their job well and are ready to conscientiously carry out the tasks assigned. Therefore, study, work on yourself, do not be afraid of difficulties and always remember why you chose this path. Let these shoulder straps become a symbol of a confident start and future professional achievements for you,” said Valerii Sokurenko.

During his stay at the college, the Rector also talked with students. In a relaxed atmosphere, they discussed studies, professional prospects, opportunities for self-realization and the importance of quality education in modern conditions. The Rector emphasized that student years should be a time not only for acquiring professional knowledge, but also for forming professional values and a willingness to work for the benefit of Ukraine.

The awarding of shoulder straps became a symbolic beginning of a new stage for the first-year students of KFC KhNUIA - persistent study, professional development and preparation for future service.
