KhNUIA holds brainstorming session for Constitution Day of Ukraine

On the eve of the 29th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution of Ukraine, the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs organized an intellectual team competition among higher education students of KhNUIA. The goal of the event was to form a high level of legal awareness, deepen knowledge of the basics of the constitutional system, and cultivate legal culture among intellectual youth of Ukraine.

The event was opened by the university's Vice-Rector Oleksandr MUZYCHUK, who in his speech recalled the difficult and at the same time historically important path to the adoption of the Fundamental Law of Ukraine, emphasized its role as the foundation of a legal state and a democratic system. The vice-rector paid special attention to the modern meaning of the Constitution in the conditions of martial law, when the rule of law and the inviolability of constitutional principles remain the guideline for state policy and society.

The brain-ring was attended by teams from all Educational and Research Institutes No. 1-5 and Sumy branch. The participants demonstrated deep knowledge of the provisions of the current Constitution of Ukraine, as well as awareness of the main stages of its formation and further evolution.

The competition was held in a friendly but dynamic atmosphere, which combined the excitement of competition with a sincere interest in constitutional and legal issues. The teams demonstrated not only a high level of knowledge, but also the ability to think quickly, team interaction and worthy competition.

The Director of the ERI No. 4 Mykola MARCHUK emphasized the importance of such events in the system of civic and patriotic education. He emphasized that the Constitution is not only a legal document, but also a symbol of national unity, legal culture and democratic values, which are especially important to maintain in modern conditions.

According to the results of the game, the team of the ERI No. 4 won, which demonstrated the best preparation, coordinated teamwork and efficiency in providing answers. They were highly competitive with the teams of the ERI No. 5 and No. 3, which confidently held the leading positions until the last round and showed excellent erudition. The teams of the ERI No. 1, No. 2 and Sumy branch also took an equally active part in the competition, which demonstrated a high level of preparation, analytical thinking and sincere interest in constitutional and legal issues. The atmosphere of mutual respect and team support between the participants created a favorable environment for intellectual growth, which made participation in the brain-ring a valuable experience regardless of the points scored.

The evaluation of the teams' answers was carried out by a highly professional jury, which included representatives of various departments of the university. The Head of the jury was Olena STATIVKA, Head of the Department of Language Training. The jury also included: Head of the Department of Humanities and Ukrainian Studies Volodymyr HRECHENKO, Professor of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law Viktor LAZAREV, Head of the Department of Automotive Training Oleksandr MARUNCHAK and Librarian of the General Library Zhanna LAZORENKO. Their objectivity, attentiveness and support of the participants were the key not only to a fair result, but also to the overall positive mood of the event.

Head of the Department of Constitutional and International Law and Human Rights Tetiana HUDZ noted the participants, jury members and fans for their active participation, interest in legal knowledge and sincere concern for issues of state formation and strengthening oflegal culture.
