The issues of using special knowledge in operational and investigative activities and pre-trial investigation were considered during the class for higher education students in the discipline “Criminalistics”. It was conducted by Nataliia Todorovska, Senior Criminalist Specialist of the Criminalistics Department of the Investigation Department of Vinnytsia Region Main Department of the National Police, and Oleksandr Yukhno, Professor of the Department of Criminalistics, Forensic Science and Pre-medical Training.

The class was accompanied by a demonstration of the use of various types of investigative suitcases, photos and videos on the use of forensic equipment and tools, as well as a mobile forensic laboratory in the field during police work to identify, record, seize and evaluate physical evidence of criminal activity. The cadets gained skills and abilities in fingerprinting, using an investigative suitcase and other technical and forensic tools presented. Nataliia Todorovska answered interesting and extraordinary questions about the peculiarities of mastering the knowledge of the future profession of an operative.
