The exhibition is dedicated to the Heroes of the Russian-Ukrainian war, in whose honor streets in Ukrainian cities were named or renamed.

The Rector of the university, Police General of the third rank Valerii SOKURENKO noted that during the Russian military aggression against Ukraine, it is extremely important not to forget about those who defended and are defending our cities: "From the first days of the war, one of the university's priorities has been to provide volunteer assistance to both military and civilian citizens who found themselves in difficult life circumstances. We support our defenders, help the wounded, and assist the families of fallen Heroes. The memory of those who gave their lives for Ukraine will live in our hearts, and their names will be engraved in the history of our cities and villages. This exhibition is another important step in honoring the feat of the defenders."

The exhibition was introduced by Oleksii SERVETNYK, chief specialist of the central interregional department of the Ukrainian Institute of National Remembrance. 

He emphasized that the exhibition was created to draw attention to the importance of preserving historical and cultural memory, strengthening Ukrainian civic identity and countering disinformation about the events of the war.
