Тhe head of the Department of Criminal Procedure and Forensics of OSUIA, Police Colonel Hanna Teteriatnyk, took part in the development program «Procedural Interview. Vulnerability».

The program is organized by development hub the JustLearn (JustGroup) in cooperation with the Training Center of Prosecutors of Ukraine, Norsk center for menneskerettigheter - Norwegian Center for Human Rights with the support of the International Fund «Renaissance» and the project «Supporting inclusive recovery to ensure the resilience and safety of people in Ukraine», financed by the Government of Japan and implemented by UNDP Ukraine.

For three days, specialists from various law enforcement agencies and higher education institutions, under the guidance of experienced trainers, had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the modern philosophy of interaction with participants in criminal proceedings when conducting interrogations with people in states of vulnerability according to the method of procedural interviews.

During the program, the involved participants worked out the issues of vulnerability, its impact on communication processes during the procedural interview, features of planning and preparation, conducting and evaluating interrogation, interaction with the involved specialists, and learned trauma-oriented approaches. The final part of the programme was a practical exercise to conduct procedural interviews with vulnerable participants in the proceedings.

According to the results, the participants received certificates.
