Professor of the Department of Criminal Law Disciplines of OSUIA, Doctor of Law, Professor Daria Balobanova participated in the Professional Development School for Criminal Law Lecturers organized by OSCE Projects in Ukraine in partnership with Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University and in cooperation with the Supreme Court in Kyiv.

During the three-day event, criminal law lecturers from various Ukrainian universities, along with judges of the Supreme Court, discussed challenging issues related to the interpretation and application of criminal law provisions, as well as modern teaching methodologies for criminal law disciplines in higher education institutions.

The professional discussions also focused on the prospects for regulating certain criminal law institutions within the framework of the Draft of the new Criminal Code of Ukraine.
