Khmelnytskyi city hosted Khmelnytskyi region WAKO kickboxing championship among students of children's and youth sports schools and sports clubs, dedicated to the memory of Nazar Makarenko.

Cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the competition, demonstrating a high level of sports training and winning a number of prizes in various weight categories and sections of the program.

The winners of the competition were cadets Lev Fesenko, who won 1st place among adults in the "low kick" section, and Daniel Tymchuk, who became the champion among adults in the same section.

The silver medalists of the championship were cadets Tymur Hariaha (full-contact section), Pavlo Pavlusyk (low-kick section), Bohdan Shendra (low-kick section), Denys Pshenychnyi (low-kick section) and Arsen Kuz (low-kick section).
The bronze award among adults in the full-contact section was won by cadet Maksym Kachalaba.
