Representatives of EUAM together with Department of Communication and International Relations of DLI started the first webinar for cadets of the Donetsk Law Institute. The attendees were discussing some cases of environmental crimes both in Ukraine and abroad.

The conference was held by the ex-police officers Mr. Georg Partenheimer and Ms. Heike Kortmann. Foreign colleagues from Germany with more than 30 years of working experience explained some basics of environmental legislation system to future law enforcement officers. Representatives of the Mission provided examples of environmental crimes and accounted for liability of offenders.

Ms. Heike Kortmann explained how law enforcement officers determine the degree of environmental damage. The cadets actively participated during the webinar asking professional questions to the representatives.

The speakers showed an ecological map (at the link [email protected] ), provided an opportunity to monitor the data of on-site waste recycling and landfills in Ukraine.  Ms. Kortmann gave many examples from her own experience in obtaining evidence of environmental crimes.
