An event took place at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs that marks a new stage of partnership in the field of digital development and security – the ceremonial signing of a memorandum of cooperation.

The document was signed by Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, and LLC «GERTS UA». The memorandum provides for joint efforts in the areas of educational, scientific, and practical cooperation, the development of digital competencies, and the implementation of joint projects.

The event also featured the presentation of a specialized educational facility, the «Esports Arena», which is considered one of the practical platforms for implementing the agreements set out in the memorandum.

The new space creates opportunities for:

• practical training in teamwork and decision-making skills;

• development of digital thinking and modern learning formats;

• implementation of joint initiatives within the partnership;

• involvement of students in innovative educational and applied projects;

• formation of a modern educational environment at the university.

The memorandum was signed by:

• Yurii Vykhodets, Head of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, Third Rank Police General;

• Viacheslav Davydenko, Rector of the Odesa State University of Internal Affairs, Police Colonel;

• Denys Tkach, Authorized Representative of LLC «GERTS UA».

The signing of the memorandum was an important step in the development of inter-institutional cooperation and the implementation of modern approaches to training specialists focused on digital challenges and the security needs of the state.
