State and legal principles of formation of security environment in Ukraine discussed at the OSUIA

Тhe Odesa State University of Internal Affairs hosted the All-Ukrainian Scientific Conference ‘State and Legal Principles of Formation of the Security Environment in Ukraine: Modern Challenges’.

The participants of the event were welcomed by

- Rector of the University, PhD in Law Viacheslav Davydenko;

- Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Odesa Region Ivan Zhuk;

 

- Head of the Odesa Department of the Internal Security Department of the National Police of Ukraine, PhD in Law Mykola Chernov;

- Head of the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, Doctor of Law, Professor, Honoured Lawyer of Ukraine Viktor Beschastnyi;

- Deputy Chairman of the Odesa Court of Appeal, PhD in Law, Associate Professor Andrii Dryshliuk.

During the conference, the Vice-Rector of the University Maksym Korniienko presented the collective monograph of the OSIA ‘Martial Law: Theoretical and Praxeological Problems of Jurisprudence’, which contains the works of scholars on topical legal issues under martial law.

The conference brought together scholars and practitioners dealing with the issues of creating a security environment in Ukraine, state policy in the areas of national security and defence, ensuring private rights and interests of individuals and interaction between the branches of state power under martial law.

Based on the results of the conference, a resolution was drawn up, which took into account the proposals and developments of the participants of the scientific event.
