In accordance with the decision of the National Commission on State Language Standards dated September 24, 2025 № 326, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs is appointed as an authorized institution that ensures the conduct of exams to determine the level of proficiency in the state language for the performance of official duties, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 9 Law of Ukraine «On ensuring the functioning of the Ukrainian language as a state».

October 23, the first examination session was held at the Center for conducting exams to determine the level of proficiency in the state language.

Candidates for the State certificate were cadets and university staff, as well as other persons who are required to speak the State language and apply it in the course of their official duties.
