А working meeting was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs between the university’s administration and Mark Winfield, a representative of the international company Tetra Tech and a UK national who serves as the liaison officer for state universities of internal affairs.

The meeting was attended by University Rector Viacheslav Davydenko and First Vice Rector Maksym Korniienko. During the discussion, the parties addressed current issues related to the development of international cooperation in the field of law enforcement training.

Particular attention was paid to the prospects of holding joint training sessions and educational events for the university’s academic and teaching staff. In particular, the parties discussed the possibility of organizing specialized training on identifying and countering threats related to the use of explosive devices, as well as enhancing the security training of law enforcement professionals.

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of strengthening international partnerships, exchanging practical experience, and implementing modern educational approaches in the training of law enforcement personnel.
