А master class was held at Odesa State University of Internal Affairs on the occasion of World First Aid Day. The event was organized for cadets of the educational and scientific institute for training specialists for the criminal police departments of the National Police of Ukraine.

A master class on first aid skills was conducted by Maksym Babchuk, a certified instructor of the Ukrainian Red Cross Society.

Participants in the event had the opportunity to gain practical knowledge and skills that are vital for future law enforcement officers – the correct algorithm of actions in critical situations, techniques for stopping bleeding, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, and other elements of pre-medical care.

The cooperation between OSUIA and the Ukrainian Red Cross Society has once again proven its effectiveness, as the combination of theoretical training and practical skills significantly increases the professional competence of cadets.
