The event was held for cadets of the Department of Military Training of Specialists of the State Special Transport Service of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies.

The meeting was organized by the course officer of the training course of the Department of Military Training of Specialists of the State Special Transport Service, Captain Oksana Konstantynovych.

The session was conducted by Artem Formalov, laboratory assistant of the Department of Civil Law Disciplines of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA, and Ivan Zmiyevskyi, Deputy Course Commander of the Educational and Scientific Institute of Training Specialists for Preventive Activity Units of the National Police of Ukraine.

The veterans examined in detail the structure of the assault rifle, rules for safe handling, as well as the procedure for weapon maintenance. Ivan Zmiyevskyi and Artem Formalov shared their own combat experience with the cadets, in particular, they told about the practical use of unmanned aerial vehicles in modern conditions of warfare.

The veterans noted that such events are important for forming in future officers the necessary military-professional competencies, increasing the level of readiness to perform service-combat tasks, and also contribute to the exchange of practical experience.
