On the evening on September 25th, 2020, at about 8:45 p.m., a military plane of Aviation Brigade of the the Kharkiv National Air Force University named after Ivan Kozhedub crashed during scheduled landing flights.
In addition to 7 crew members, there were 20 university cadets on board.
The accident killed 26 people; one of the victim is in the hospital.
