Another student of the barrier-free driving school of KhNUIA successfully passed the practical exam at the territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kamianets-Podilskyi and received a driver's license - this is Yevhen Laburenko.

In 2023, he voluntarily stood up for the defense of Ukraine, performing combat missions as a sapper in the hottest spots of the front. During one of the battles near the village of Pryiutne in Donetsk region, he was seriously wounded. Then his comrades died, and Yevhen himself received injuries that changed his life.

Already in the hospital, he realized that he no longer felt his legs. However, he did not lose the most important thing - strength of spirit, faith in himself and the desire to move forward. Thanks to the support of his family, specialists and volunteers, Yevhen began a new stage of life, full of new goals and achievements.

One of these goals was to obtain a driver's license. To do this, he studied at a barrier-free driving school, where he mastered the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills of driving a car.

“It was not difficult to pass the practical exam. During the training, I received thorough knowledge and a lot of practice, so I felt confident. I am sincerely grateful to the driving school instructors for their support, professionalism and belief in me. Obtaining a driver's license is not just a document, but another step towards independence and new opportunities,” shared Yevhen Laburenko.

Yevhen's story is an example of indomitability, courage and the desire for a full life despite all the trials. His success proves that perseverance and support can help achieve even the most daring goals.
