On October 2, a new modern library dedicated to the All-Ukrainian Day of Libraries was opened on the basis of the Odessa Center for Primary Vocational Training "Police Academy" of the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs.

After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Rector of the University awarded the library workers for their conscientious attitude to the performance of functional duties, initiative and perseverance.

Odessa State University of Internal Affairs always takes care of each cadet, and pays special attention to those who do not have parents - orphans, as well as children deprived of parental care. The Rector of the University presented such cadets with useful books which will help them to grow in their job of police officer.

On the occasion of the opening of the new University library, each employee of the University presented several copies of books that will add to the reading treasury of the University.
