There are many awards of all-Ukrainian and international competitions in the weightlifter’s treasury. And recently he received sports star from unique media resource.
Mykhailo Dominyuk is a lecturer at LvSUIA Department of Special Physical Training of the Faculty №2. He became interested in weightlifting in his youth while studying at university.
“I started to train more actively at the third course. I set a goal - to fulfill the standard of candidate for master of sports. But when I achieved what I wanted I realized that this is not the end, I need to move on and work even harder” Mykhailo Dominyuk said.
Already in 2014, Mykhailo successfully fulfilled the standard for master of sports of international class. And recently he returned from European Championship with another victory - as part of the national team elections “gold” in the team relay in push for a long cycle exercise.
Mykhailo is not only a successful athlete, but also a coach with a lot of years of experience. “I was always interested in how to improve my result, I was searching for books, advice from famous weightlifters. Later I began to share knowledge with others, to help those who are just trying their hand. Our university has a section of weightlifting. Both boys and girls come here to practice, which also shows good results. Trainings help to develop strength and endurance, harden the character” Mykhailo Dominyuk emphasizes and adds - exactly these traits are extremely important for future police officers.
Recently, LvSUIA lecturer became one of the best athletes according to PLAYPRO.media. Weightlifter became SPORTSTAR-2020 award winner, which was launched on the occasion of first anniversary of popular media resource. This award was created to encourage strong and talented athletes who worked during the year on the development of Ukrainian sports.
Mykhailo received the star statuette as soon as he returned from European Championship. And another pleasant surprise for the athlete was PLAYPRO thematic glossy edition, dedicated to the winners of the award.
