Vitalii Khashchovyi took a practical driving course at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Driving School on a specialized vehicle. Since childhood, he has had problems with his musculoskeletal system. When Vitalii turned 18, he set a goal to learn to drive, but he and his parents could not find a suitable driving school. Later, they learned about the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities project implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as part of First Lady Olena Zelenska's initiative “No Barriers.”

“Getting a driver's license was one of my most cherished dreams. It gives me the opportunity to be more mobile and independent, because I have a lot of plans for the future that I want to realize. It was not easy to learn at first, but under the guidance of a professional and qualified instructor, I managed to achieve the desired result,” Vitalii said.
