On March 7, 2025, the Head of the air reconnaissance department, a graduate of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Vladyslav KUZNICHENKO, died while performing a combat mission in Kharkiv region.
Vladyslav graduated from the boarding school with enhanced military and physical training "Cadet Corps" and in 2017 became a cadet of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Having received a higher education in the specialty "Law Enforcement Activities", he continued his studies in absentia to obtain a master's degree. On April 7, 2021, Vladyslav KUZNICHENKO joined the ranks of border guards of the Vilhuvatsky department of Kharkiv Border Guard Detachment.

Border Guard Inspector of the highest category, Senior Sergeant Vladyslav KUZNICHENKO was awarded a number of awards: the commemorative medal "For the Defense of the Hero City of Kharkiv", the decoration of the President of Ukraine "For the Defense of Ukraine", the breastplate "For Courage in Guarding the State Border", the certificate of the commander of the operational-tactical group "Kharkiv" for exemplary performance of military duty, high professionalism and skill shown during the implementation of measures for national security and defense, repelling and deterring armed aggression of the Russian Federation during the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The soldier was buried on the Alley of Glory in Kharkiv.
