On January 16, a working meeting of the university management with a foreign delegation of the European Union Advisory Mission Ukraine took place in OSUIA. The meeting was attended by rector Viacheslav Davydenko, first Vice-rector Maksym Korniienko, Vice-rectors Anatolii Nikitin and Vadym Pidhorodynskyi, as well as representatives of the EUAM - leaders and advisers of key components of the mission from Denmark, France and Sweden.


The foreign delegation of the EUAM included: Flemming Lau (Danish citizen) - Head of IBM & Law Enforcement Component; Guillaume Dinh (French citizen) - Head of Police Unit; Maans Jennehag (Swedish citizen) - Advisor on General Policing; Johan Chytraeus (Swedish citizen) - Reform and Coordination National Expert; Jean-Marc Krebs (French citizen) - Head of the LAT Unit.


During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for expanding international cooperation, in particular with the practical units of the police of the French Republic with the assistance of the EUAM. The main attention was paid to the exchange of experience, the implementation of best European practices, as well as the possibilities of organizing short-term internships, study visits, joint trainings and expert events.


The importance of academic mobility, the development of educational and scientific-practical initiatives, the exchange of methodological developments and the integration of European experience into the educational programs of OSUIA with the aim of improving the training of future specialists was separately emphasized.
