The leading specialist of the fire safety group of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Yurii Chukhrii met with the students of the ERI №1, №4 and №5. He acquainted the cadets and students with the basic rules of fire safety, reminded them of the requirements for fire safety in everyday life, explained the algorithm of actions in case of a fire in the premises, demonstrated how to use primary fire extinguishing equipment, in particular various types of fire extinguishers, if necessary. Yurii Chukhrii taught the students how to handle flammable objects when they are found.

Svitlana Hetmanchuk, a leading occupational health and safety specialist, told the students and cadets about the state and problems of labor protection, its hygiene, industrial sanitation and safety. The knowledge acquired by the students will help them to effectively solve the tasks of their professional activities with due regard for the requirements of labor protection aimed at preserving their life, health and ability to work.
