On October 15, there was a meeting of the scientific and practical round table to discuss problematic issues of operational and investigative activities of the National Police of Ukraine at the Odessa State University of Internal Affairs.
This scientific event was inaugurated by the Rector of the University Viacheslav Abroskin, Candidate of Law, who emphasized that reforming of the law enforcement system of Ukraine in the formation of civil society, building the rule of law and adapting national legislation to the EU law requires constant scientific support of these processes and puts on the agenda new research tasks and priorities that require modern methodological approaches.
There is a special need to study the legal and organizational and tactical principles of operational and investigative activities of the National Police of Ukraine as a component of the law enforcement agencies, and its activities in combating crime in general. This will be facilitated by the constant exchange of scientific achievements, developments and opinions.
During the meeting, the problematic issues of regulatory and legal support of the operational units of the National Police of Ukraine were discussed.
In turn, the police general of the third rank Sergey Tikhonov brought to the participants of the event the main scientific achievements of the department of operative-search activity of the National Academy of Internal Affairs.
The result of the scientific-practical round table was the outline of the most problematic issues of theory and practice of operational and investigative activities of the National Police of Ukraine, which require thorough scientific study.
